Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Previous work experience as a networking engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of network devices Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, and Mikrotik.
• Familiarity with network analysis tools including Zabbix.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• High-level problem-solving and communication skills
• CCNP is Preferable

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may vary between organizations, but on-site servers, software-network interactions as well as network integrity/resilience are the key areas of focus. Network administrators are often involved in proactive work. This type of work will often include:

• Configuring network hardware like servers, routers, and switches
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• testing the network for weakness.
• evaluating implementing network.
• Troubleshooting network issues
• Assisting network architects with the design of network models
• Deploying and updating software
• Managing servers and their operating systems
• installing and implementing security programs
• Implementing security measures and basic testing
• Managing cloud and physical network storage
• Leads the performance of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with minimal interruption.
• Leads in the configuration of firewall security settings to access permissions groups for individuals and sets up provisions for incoming data.
• Leads network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software, and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing the function of other systems.

Network administrators may also technically take part (as required) in the management and maintenance of desktop computers, servers, printers, switches, routers, firewalls, software implementations, security updates, VPN gateways, file servers, intrusion detection systems, and a wide range of additional technologies associated with both software and hardware within the network.
