Tamata is looking to hire an employee for the following position:

- Senior PHP Developer

Location: Baghdad

As Senior PHP Developer, you’ll take full ownership of Tamata's main system, which is central to all of our operations. The work conducted includes maintenance, further feature development, and more excitingly, putting the cornerstone for the upcoming phase.

Responsibilities:

• Collection and prioritize requirements from the Marketplace manager.
• Understand user stories and convert them into implementation tasks.
• Identify system issues and bottlenecks and prioritize resolution tasks.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and appropriate design patterns are implemented.
• Track, identify, and resolve system performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical feedback to the Technical Manager.
• Communicate risks and issues to the Technical Manager.
• Full ownership of Magento system.
• Participate in CI/CD and system operation on AWS Cloud environment.
• Maintain, provide, and track full system documentation on feature, release, issues, and architectural levels.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building applications with PHP.
• Proven experience with SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Proven experience with OOP and DDD.
• Proven experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
• Proven experience with SDLC.
• Proven experience with software enterprise patterns.
• Proven experience with caching techniques.
• Prior experience in agile methodologies.
• Prior experience in OAuth2.0 specification and OpenId Connect protocol.
• Prior experience with Containerization and cloud architecture is preferable.
• Good team player with profound soft skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
• Preferable to have hands-on experience in TDD, Unit Testing, and Integration Testing.
• Spoken and written English fluency is a must.
• Prior experience in the E-Commerce domain is a plus.
• Prior experience in any Web app framework is a plus (Angular, React, Vu, etc.)
